The Lord belong the earth and everything in it is contained, the world and those who dwell on it - Psalm 24: 1
Read Genesis 1: 26-28
When Amanda was attending the second year of university, she began to rethink their views that referred to Christian stewardship in relation to Earth.
Amanda had been brought up thinking that environmental awareness have nothing to do with his relationship with Jesus. That all changed when she was challenged to consider the Christian's role in the care of the planet - especially as it relates to reach those most in need of the world.
Our care for the beautiful world that God has given us and the people who inhabit it, shows our reverence for God and is based on two biblical principles.
First, the earth belongs to God (Psalm 24: 1, 2) the psalmist praised the Lord for His creation and His lordship over it. The heavens, the earth and all that is in them belong to you.

He created them, it is sovereign (Psalms 93: 1, 2) and takes care of them (Matthew 6: 26-30). Second, God has delegated to us the responsibility for the welfare of his earth (Genesis 1: 26-28), which includes assessment and care so much about nature (Leviticus 25: 2 to 5.11; Proverbs 12:10) as with people (Romans 15: 2)This is the world of our Father. We will demonstrate how much we love through respect and care for the people who inhabit it.
